Bridge Construction Technology

Based on its advanced technology, Freyssinet Korea has been leading the construction of various cable-stayed bridges, including cable-stayed bridges, ED bridges, and arch bridges in Korea. We will continue to take the lead in bridge construction that prioritizes the safety of our customers by adding maintenance management technology as well as construction technology.

Post-Tensioning

Freyssinet Korea will introduce PT to building slabs to maximize space utilization by reducing and eliminating interferences, and also strive to improve economic efficiency.

Precast Concrete

Based on construction experience with various precast methods such as TechSpan, TechBOX, Techwall, and PC Slab, Hurecine Korea will do its best for quick and safe construction.

Heavy Lifting

Seohae bridge

It’s the first bridge which was applied Freyssinet PSS and 5th cable-stayed in Korea. We had supply and installed 1,900 ton strands with 144 stays and dampers(IHD).

This bridge was designed warren truss with duplex deck for the vehicle and bicycle. The cable anchor boxes composed 3 bundles which were 7 stays in each bundle. We had supply and installed 1,140 ton strands with 84 stays and dampers(IHD, IRD).

SeoHae Cable Repair

In 2015, a lightning strike caused the failure of one cable and damage to two others on the Seohae Bridge. Drawing on its experience from constructing 48 cable-supported bridges in Korea, Freyssinet Korea swiftly replaced all three cables in just 16 days—13 days ahead of schedule—preventing an estimated 32.5 billion KRW in social loss.
